Merry Christmas from AR Funding

As 2024 comes to an end, American businesses, owners, and employees deserve time to reset, recharge and reflect. This year, we have continued experiencing inflation, higher interest rates, slower job growth, lower consumer and business spending, and a nerve-racking presidential election.

The outlook for 2025 is still to be determined as the U.S. transitions to a new presidency. While the Fed is expected to continue cutting interest rates, economists are predicting that inflation may go either way. Job reports indicate low unemployment, yet those job numbers have been restated many times in the past year and many part-time jobs are replacing full time jobs. It’s hard to know where we really stand, but we’re probably not out of the woods yet.

Over the past 28 years, A/R Funding and its highly valued clients have faced other challenges, some smaller and some a lot larger than we have now. Many of you relied on us in 2008 as you experienced the worst economic recession in recent history. Being able to accelerate cash flow during this time helped businesses survive, and for some, it was even an opportunity to surge ahead of competitors who did not enjoy the same flexibility. We also worked together through the various issues caused by COVID and its unique effects on the economy.

During some of these past economic events, we have seen client’s companies take advantage of the situation by focusing on building stronger underlying financials and finding partners they can trust. We want to make sure you can rely on both in the months and years ahead. Whether the year ahead brings your business opportunities for growth or negative impacts, we are committed to doing all we can to help.

Hopefully, the picture of our economy and where we are headed may be clearer soon. Our hopes are for all of you to experience much success in the upcoming year. If we look back at past times, in my opinion, they do not last as long as they seem while we go through them. We will get through them together.
